"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush-fires of freedom in the minds of men." ― Samuel Adams
Men of Morehouse, as scholars, I expect that you all know from historic, real-life examples, that a nation is only as strong as it's government.  With this notion, understand that the same principle applies to that of a college's and or university's student body and Student Government Association.

Like you, as a student, I have witnessed our college's very own Student Government Association at work, and it pains me say that I am less than satisfied.  The incompetency and inefficiency of the Morehouse College SGA have not only left me disappointed, for I have had high expectations upon my arrival to the college, but too, have instilled in me the unrelenting desire to effectuate change and bring rise to the troubles the plague our student body on account of an inefficient executive board.

My platform is centered around three ideas:
  1. Organization
  2. Strategic Planning
  3. Logistical Management
Each idea in my platform will be approached with my self-constructed concept that I like to call the Bulls-Eye Concept.

In the game of darts, the most skilled and efficient player is one that is able to hit the center of their target with ease.  To achieve such a difficult task, the efficient player must have a precise accomplishment of a goal or purpose, that is, to throw his/her dart in the center of the target.  A successful SGA is one that has a precise accomplishment of a goal or purpose.  If the SGA approaches its agenda with the concept of the game of darts in mind, it is capable of successfully fulfilling its mission of representing the student body by way of advocacy and sponsored programs.
